At Sweet Dreams, our delivery team isn’t just any crew—they’re a trusted part of our in-house family. Trained to handle everything from immaculate hardwood furniture to oversized sectionals, they know how to move furniture with care and how to drive a large delivery truck with confidence and respect for your property.
We don’t outsource to third-party companies—every delivery is handled by our own staff, hired and trained by us. What started with Marcus delivering furniture in his old blue pickup truck has grown into a full-scale delivery service reaching homes across the state of Maine. No matter how far we’ve come, we still treat every delivery with the same care we did on day one.
FAQs
Sweet Dreams offers furniture removal as an added convenience during delivery. If you’d like us to remove your old furniture, we’re happy to help—however, please note that there is a fee associated with this service. This cost covers both the time of our delivery team and the disposal fees we incur at the transfer station.
Please be aware that our delivery crew reserves the right to decline removal of any items that are deemed excessively soiled, infested, or otherwise unsanitary. We appreciate your understanding, as we aim to ensure a safe and respectful working environment for our team.
If you’d like to arrange for removal, please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
At Sweet Dreams, your delivery experience is a top priority. In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to delay or reschedule deliveries to ensure the safety of our crew and your furniture. If a reschedule is necessary, your delivery will be placed at the top of our priority list and we’ll make every effort to get your furniture to you as soon as conditions allow.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that driveways, walkways, and access points are clear of snow, ice, and any other hazards. If our delivery team determines that conditions are unsafe upon arrival, the delivery will be postponed and rescheduled for a later date. A second delivery fee will apply for the return trip.

Sweet Dreams delivers throughout the state of Maine, Monday through Friday, between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This weekday time window is fixed and not negotiable, as we plan our routes based on geography to ensure efficient deliveries across the state.
If arranged in advance with one of our sales associates, customers may request to be either the first or last stop on the schedule for a specific delivery date. While we can’t guarantee exact times, we’ll do our best to accommodate special timing requests when possible.
Our delivery schedule is carefully planned based on the towns and regions we’re visiting each day, so thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we work to bring your furniture safely and efficiently to your door.
